JUNIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER

General Duties

• Following company and departmental benchmarks;
  
• Following all reasonable instructions as requested by the management;
  
• Being aware of all in-store promotions;
  
• Keeping all company information, including sales figures, strictly confidential;
  
• Ensuring he / she follows all company rules and regulations;
  
• Following all company safety and security procedures;
  
• Representing the company in the best way possible at all times, whether on or off duty.

Sales Responsibility

• Having an excellent and up to date knowledge of all products;
  
• Assisting customers with sales;
  
• Assisting customers with their home design using CAD system;
  
• Maintaining CAD library to reflect all products available from VENDORS.

Design tasks

• Working with the Management team to create retail product displays and room sets;
  
• Liaising with suppliers to maintain up to date library of products;
  
• Producing designs in AutoCAD, 3D Max, and hand renderings to customer requirements;
  
• Constantly renewing his / her knowledge of design and the latest influences.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:

Essential

• Degree or diploma in interior design or CAD graphic design;
  
• 3 to 5 years design experience;
  
• Excellent written and spoken English, Arabic is a plus;
  
• AutoCad, 3D Max, Photoshop, Excel;
  
• Hand Rendering/Sketching a must;
  
• Excellent people skills.

Desirable

• Valid Driving License
